Default 2 Portraits, which one?

Well as always I can never decide between 2 pictures for something... I want to enter one of these shots into the current 'Portrait of a Person' assignment but I can't pick which. They both offer something different...

1.
20090314_2237 - with sig

2.

Thanks for your opinion!

It is hard, especially when you do such a good job of them.

Personally I think the second is more interesting because of the nice smile, the pose, and the variety of color. You have also made very good use of the hands.

The second shot I find to red, it clashes with the hair. But it also is a very good shot.

By the time others post you will be very confused

Looking at them again I really do like the second.

They are both great shots, but my favorite is the second one.

Both are wonderful shots but I like the second better. It just seems more natural to me.

Second one captured the spirit of the person. Great pose!
