Default which is better?...

Hi all, some days ago, I posted a pic and I received some comments/critics with regards the plumage of the seagull

Now I am posting both to re-working the seagull

Can you please critic if it was improved?

In my humble opinion, I think the seagull looks more real in the second shot.

I like the look of the seagull in the second picture also, but like the background and color of the first one.
