Default plant bw vs. color

What do you guys think looks best, the color version or black and white... or neither?

Hmmm...the coloured one looks better, but the background is way too distracting. Some parts are overexposed, and you can see the shadow of a leaf on one of the other leaves. Try cropping it horizontally so that you crop out most of the background, keeping the in-focus leaves on the right hand side.
It might also help to include the EXIF data. Shooting in the harsh sunlight can be a bit tricky. Keep trying.

Thanks for the feedback! I've been trying to shoot in M more and figure out what settings to use on different types of shots. Here's the plant cropped the way you suggested. And also the EXIF data..
ISO-100 SS-1/200s F/5
