Default Lonely or Brave? Which tells a better story?

I really like this shot I took during the golden hour on my way home the other day. I've been wanting to photograph this abandoned farm house for six months, but have never had a good opportunity until now. Which pp do you prefer?

LONELY:
The House on the Hill B/W

OR BRAVE:
The House on the Hill

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and suggestions!

I like the first one better. That looks much more like a photograph, while the bottom one looks more like a snapshot to me. But I might be biased because when it comes to landscape photography, I am a much bigger fan of dark and mysterious than happy and bright!

Thanks, rach! I like the feel of the b/w conversion, too. I think I just felt like it was a shame to waste such pretty light & colors. It's interesting to me how the same shot can look so different (more/less like a "snapshot") according to how you process it in post.
