Default general Robert E Lee

Hi all
I was given the oppertunity to photograph the character of General Lee at a reenactment. As thing s go in a cow field I ended up with less than optimum results. What can I do to make this work?

Well - I think you nailed it with the old film look. Sure looks authentic! I would almost like to see more grain in the shopped photo. The shadow on his face works for me, too.

Hope you didnt mind but I moved your thread to the comparison section where 2 photos are permitted.
You did a good job here. The only thing I can think of to make it look old is to add a texture of maybe wrinkled up paper to give it some creases. Very subtle tho I might add
