Default color tone edit attempt

the first photo is lightroom edited, nothing fancy, adjust white balance to daylight, some sharpening and slight curves adjustments. so it is pretty much natural and plain as it is.

The second photo to the right, is done by changing the color tone. Thought of trying to make it look a bit "glamour" so as to speak.. I was just wandering, did the attempt succeed or is it better if I just stick with the original natural looking one.

Sorry for the busy background.. I was just happening to be passing by and accidently saw the event so decided to stop-by and took some snapshot since I was having my camera with me.

Can you pull the yellows down? The first one does have a hint of blue, but I think you over-corrected a bit. Notice you lose all the blue in the sky, giving the 2nd one an over-cast look to the background; but then it's also got a warmth that doesn't match the grey, over-cast looking sky.

Thanks for that input Liz.. Didn't notice the sky. Maybe next time I can consider some masking on the area.

I prefer the one on the right. The color tone makes her skin pop, and it easily draws your eye to her and less towards the guys in the back. It also helps the lighting.

I agree with you. Please try less temperature + Saturation. Should be fine.

Hi all,
I tried to less the temp (-5) and saturation (-15) and this is what i got.

it does looks cooler, and more natural. But I am afraid it might be too washed out.

The first one looks better, but warm it up just a bit maybe some where between the first and second one would do it and pump up the saturation just a tad. You could mask off the shy to bring out the slight cloud detail.

I like the one on the right at the top better than the other two, but I generally prefer (and am criticized for taking..) warmer photos, so take that with a grain of salt I suppose To me, the first one is too cool, and the last one seems stripped of too much of its color.
