Hi Sherm,
I prefer the colour photo better. The colour seems a little saturated to me thought, but I think that this is just a matter of perspective. Great composition, I like it. :-) Cheers James

And another vote for the colour version, because of all the reasons IABoomer mentioned (not enough separation between the subject and the background).

Color for me too and I agree with the others on not enough seperation in the B&W and the red in the bridge too saturated for my taste.
