Default black and whit vs color

please help, me and my wife disagree on which is better for this pic black and white or color. PLEASE HELP any other crique would be awesome as well. Thanks Sherm

There is a comparison critique forum, for future reference. This would be ideal there.

Having said that, as posted, I prefer the color. In the B&W, all those dark tones run together too much and there's not enough separation between the subject and the background. If you can brighten up the greens, she might pop out more and I might change my mind to the B&W image.

Hi Sherm,

I prefer the colour photo better. The colour seems a little saturated to me thought, but I think that this is just a matter of perspective. Great composition, I like it. :-)

And another vote for the colour version, because of all the reasons IABoomer mentioned (not enough separation between the subject and the background).

I like the color better. But I too think the red in the brigde is too saturated.

Color for me too and I agree with the others on not enough seperation in the B&W and the red in the bridge too saturated for my taste.
