Default Candid Shot. Can't Decide.

I shot this image of my wife and MIL on our last visit. I thought I saw a good picture and took it. One shot was all I got. I was soundly chastised and ordered out of the area. Both of them share the anti picture gene.

The history of my wife and her mom isn't the best. They spent the better part of 20 years not communicating. They've buried the hatchet so to speak. There are no images of them together taken in recent memory except this one.

I'm planning on blowing up one of these pictures to 5x7 or maybe 8x10 and giving my MIL and wife copies. But I'm hemming and hawing on which one to use. My gut tells me to use the B&W image, but the color version is pretty good too.
FWIW, I do not have Lightroom or Photoshop. I don't do much post processing.

Keep in mind this is essentially a candid shot. At that moment the camera was set to shoot in a hurry and it's the only image I was able to get.

I can't decide so I'll leave it up to you folks. Do your worst.

I have to say, I really like the black and white one better.

Seconded. To me, it's the B&W, no question at all.

I would go with the B&W version - it lets you focus more on their expressions and body language than the colors of their clothes.
