Default Yvette Lopez - Color or B&W?

I tend to lean more to B&W conversion in a lot of my work, though I do love to have a great color photo as well. With this image I have no idea which way to go. I think the color is great and the barn pops against the dark clouds. I also love the contrast in the B&W.

So far it has been 50/50 between everyone I have asked, so I am turning to DPS for a little more input. The photos are pretty much where I want them, but I am always going back and making adjustments for things I may have missed or advice from others that I like.

I generally prefer color, but I prefer this B&W.

In color, the model's hair and skin tones are fairly close to the colors in the barn. In the B&W, there is better separation between the model and barn.

Yes. I can see that in the color, but it doesn't bother me too much. It was just one of those moments where I had such a short time to grab the photo that I didn't get try, let alone think about, taking a few where she and the barn are separated. I actually prefer the B&W myself.

I agree with Doug. I like the B&W much better for the seperation.
