Scott, I prefer the WA over the fish..I just think it does the subject church more justice...so it gets my vote

Thanks guys. Hmmm 50/50. I like the leading line the sidewalk creates to the church with the fisheye. Just not too sure about the distortion the lens naturally creates. It is cool and funky, but that's why I am up in the air

Yeah, it's cool and funky, but a church to me is a traditional institution, and I'd rather see it portrayed that way...but hey, that's what makes the world go round

Haha, well I like the fish. The leading lines work for me as well, and the distortion makes the church look taller and grander. Plus that picture gives some context to where the church is: an arcane, but still strong tradition planted in the hustle bustle of the modern city.

I like the leading lines in the fish too, however you might get those in the WA if it was shot straight on, like the Fish. Question here. Would/should the perspective distortion be corrected in the WA? Is there a "rule" of thumb about architectural photos and distortion? Obviously the fish's distortion is purposeful..
