Default Which tells the story better?

I can't decide which one of these comps does a better job of telling the story. The story being the saying on the flask. I took them on a short backpacking trip. Which one do you think expresses it better? Can you tell thats a waterfall in the background? Is the WB too cool? Is there anything wrong with either one of them?

In my opinion, the first one. The standing away from the flask gives more of a "wandering" appearance. The second one is more "lounging" or "resting" than "wandering".

I concur I like the 2nd shot better as a photo but #1 tells the story better.

I like #2 because #1 looks like he's peeing in the water.

Aaargh, Oldwolf, now I can't unsee that. hehe

I was going to say that I like the composition of #2 better anyway. Plus, it makes me chuckle in an ironic sort of way. Like he's lost in thought and his mind is wandering instead of the literal meaning.
