Hello everyone,
I went on a trip to the Forest of Dean in Engand today and I took a few photos whilst there. I set out hoping to get a few interesting shots looking straight up to the sky - these are the best two I got. They are both taken in the same place, but which angle is better?? Feel free to critique on them also. Thanks in advance - Tim Ps. Do not be fooled into thinking that it is just the same photo rotated, i was standing on a different spot for both photos Click on the pictures!! ![]() ![]() Camera: Pentax X90

The second one feels more dynamic to me, almost like there's a bird (the space between the trees) flying towards the larger bright spot. The first one just seems a bit darker. I really like how the absence of anything between the trees still has the outline of something. Way cool.

I think I like the first one more, though I'm hard pressed to say which, really.
I wish you had gotten a little closer to the ground so we would have seen more of the tree trunks, but I like the basic concept of the picture.
