Question Which Colour

I wanted to change the background to a solid colour. Which one is better? Or is there another color I should use? How is the overall edit?

I prefer the blue background with the exposure of the subject of the purple/blue (first) one.

I think the blue is more complimentary, but the image needs a levels, w/b adjustment.

Definitely the blue -- but the choppiness of the figure (traces of where you cut it from the background) is very distracting.

Thanks for the comments. I was leaning towards the blue as well. I agree that the first image is definitely better though.

I like the purply background better, as the figures colors seem to stand out more.

Here is the first image with the blue background. Is this a better fit?
