It does look over saturated. Can you post your exif? It looks like you had a small aperture and iso turned up (adding the noise). I think if you had shot this with a larger aperture and dropped the iso down, you could increase the saturation slightly to get what you wanted.
Edit: Ok, found your exif on flickr. Those Canon PowerShots don't do well on iso set above 200. I set mine to 80 and never touched it again. Exif data Camera Canon PowerShot SX10 IS Exposure 0.001 sec (1/1000) Aperture f/8.0 Focal Length 5 mm ISO Speed 400 Exposure Bias 0 EV

I agree w/ Mike. If you wanted to spend a little time on post-processing, you could try to boost saturation on the dog a little more strongly w/o making the sky & grass quite as vivid. I think that with both of those, the big swaths of the same color really show the saturation more strongly than the dog does.

I love that you managed to capture the dog mid-grab. I agree with the others, that it does look over saturated. The only other thing I can add is that I find the light pole near his mouth distracting, and would probably attempt to clone that out.
