Default My 1st Lightroom 3 try…

Hello I am new to Lightroom 3 as I am new to photography. I have watched a few videos from posters on this site before I downloaded the free trial today. I know it is not the best but please let me know what you think good or bad.

Thanks any help would be appreciated.

I think the crop made for a really good composition. The color is nice, but I think maybe a tad more saturation (or vibrance in Lightroom) might help the colors pop. The only "harsh" critique I see is that my eyes are drawn to the branch in the top right, as it feels like it has a sharper focus than the bee. I'm not an expert at sharpening in post-processing, but you might be able to soften the branch and sharpen the bee a little. Really nice composition in the 2nd one though!

I think I would have cropped on the horizontal, with tighter focus on the bee.
