Default Critique please.....

Before....

[IMG]_DSC0006edit2[/IMG]

I cropped it and got rid of the distractions on the doors in the background...... I also sharpened the photo and used the auto tone and color. Any suggestions on what I could have changed to make this better?

I like the post work, besides removing unwanted items, the skin tone is much better. Composition is a little off with her being in the center. In some images it can work, but with this one I would prefer her off on a 3rd. I would also have had her much further away from the background when you took the image to have some separation from the grate (background) and the subject.

I agree with all of the above.
An off-centre crop would help. I would also have a little space above that top bar, another inch or 2.

Thanks for the responses. I really appreciate your advice! I used CS5 and that alone is very overwhelming as I have just started to use it recently. Lots to learn!

It is also over sharpened, there is a glow around the parts of the gate. Remember, if you can tell that it has been sharpened, it has been sharpened too much.
