I shot the first picture below one night and have posted it else where, but really felt it was missing something.. So I got a friend who shoots large format photographs to let me have a scan of one of his ruined plates, which I then added as a texture in PS as you can see in the second photo. Do you feel this adds to the mood of the photo? Should I put a Sepia cast on this or does straight B&W work better?

I agree that i like it without texture.
The first shot is clear and clean and is really a very beautiful image. If you're wanting a 'moodier' image and can't work out how to get it you might want to post it in the section that lets others play with it to see what they can come up with.. or if not that and if you aren't against it for whatever reason, add some artificial fog in to give it that creepy factor.. |
