Default First Portrait Experiments with Studio Lighting

I got the chance to play about with studio lights for the first time this week. I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to comment on the lighting / composition in any of these shots, or which works best.

Thanks.

these are all very nice. Note how the rim/hair lighting in the second one gives dimension and separation - i like it. The others are very nice as well when driving towards a more dramatic lighting feel...

Hi,

I really like the composition and, apart from the teeniest thing in the second shot, the lighting looks great as well.

In the second shot, there's a shadow in the far eye that caught my attention and now I can't stop looking at it. It might just be me but thought I'd mention it since you asked

Great shots in any case.

M

Second one is certinaly my favorite too.
I'm just getting into portrait's too. Hope mine turn out as well as your have.

I'd have like the 3rd one a little more if I could have seen some more of her neck. It looks like her head is floating on air.

I like all of these portraits, and they are very beautiful girls. I personally like the second one the best. I did notice the shadow around her eye, but it doesn't bother me too much. The third seems to have a floating head effect which is a tad unsettling.
