Exposure 1/160
Aperture f/8.0 Focal Length 100 mm ISO Speed 200 Okay, last week I took a shot because I was drawn to the color of 3 red lamps on a building. Here it is ... ![]() I've been learning about composition all weekend and decided to go back to the shot and crop it to get a tighter, less distracting shot. Here it is ... ![]() I am still very annoyed by the little gray electrical box that shows in the bottom right, but I can't get rid of that without chopping part of the first lamp. (And I do not have the skills in Photoshop to take it away.) So, barring that, I want to know if I am headed in the right direction by the second cropped shot. I like the 3 lamps and the 3 windows ... does it grab anyone else? Thanks in advance for taking the time!

Hi 'LoveDSLR' ... Thanks for taking a look!
I do know that 'erasing' the electrical box is possible, I just do not know how skillfully. I think the alternative crop you suggest has more distraction, and cropping out the windows takes something away from the symetry (for me). I can practice editing skills ... or I can take a better shot next time. Both would be good!
