Default color or b&w (boy with a cat, diptych)

i love the colored version, but something is not right, maybe it's too bold?
Do you suggest different editing, or a fix for colored version?
This was shoot inside, with low natural light.

I actually prefer the color version. It is a bit too much yellow but I like much better than the conversion. Maybe add a cooling filter layer at a reduced opacity to help tone it down a little bit.

I like them all.

You could try to soften the yellow.

the second post is a bit better but still yellowish. correct me if i am wrong but the cat sould be grey and black? you can brush the cat with the sponge tool, desaturate till the colors become gray and black. be careful of the photo at right where it shows the cat's eyes and nose. avoid the eyes and nose.
another way is by selecting the cat and use hue and saturation.

@edbayani
actually the cat isn't gray and black, it's more gray-orange-dark brown but not as much as in the picture (it's more orange due to yellow cast from all the walls-i think)..but maybe you are right and i should desaturate the cat just a little.
thank you for the tips.

Default Color contrast

I think what you could do to really make it pop (If you know how to do the post work) is to change either your jacket or the background to a different color, like blue, orange, green, to make the colors really pop, instead of it all being really yellow. The yellow is very dramatic but it distracts rather than adds to the picture, because the wall and the jacket are the same so they blend in to each other.

I really like the second photo in the second edit. The yellow wall, jacket, and cats eyes produce a nice monochrome vibe.
