Default Color or B&W

I like this photo but am not sure which is better, color or B&W. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I enjoy the color better. Color looks great on kids and BW on older people.. may just be me though...

I like the B & W and would love for it to be more intense.

I lean towards the color version. The reason is the young lad stands out a bit more and his coloring is nicely complimented by the background. The black and white is also very nice but doesn't quite have the same level of pop and interest. Both work though.

And I'll just add that if he were my boy, I would probably by both versions :-)

Thank you for your opinions. And yes, he is my son so I plan on printing both versions. I'm actually thinking of possibly using this photo on my Christmas card, which is the whole reason I'm asking for opinions.

Thanks again!

they are both nice! Color for the table top frame; black and white for the wall...on a really nice textured linen paper....

I prefer the colored one. The texture of his hair, skin and t-shirt looks well defined in color.
