Hello Everybody,
I am new to this digital photography and was doing some experiments with the shutter speed during a full sunny afternoon. I got two snaps of the same spot taken with the different shutter speeds. Camera: Nikon D90 with 18mm-105mm lense Settings for Left Image :Auto Mode, 1/250 S, F/10, ISO 200 Settings for Right Image:Shutter Priority Mode, 1/10 S,F/25,ISO L 0.7 My primary intension while taking second snap was to show the motion of the stone. I came up with this shot only after 5-6 attempts as the picture was getting filled with white as it was a bright sunny day. Any comments/improvements is appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

I like the idea of the rolling stone and the right hand one looks good in that respect. However I don't really like the way the tree is growing out the top of it, could you move around to your right so its not in the shot? Also if you want to slow up your shutter speed any further you might want to consider putting an ND filter on the lens - that will stop the white you're getting.
