Default B&W or Color

I was really torn with the decision this week, when entering the following in the Assignment-Cars. I entered the B&W, but am wonder what others think.

Which one do you prefer?
What are your feelings towards these images?

TIA

My first feeling said B&W, because the car gets more attention in that one.
In the colored version I realy like the sky though, but not so much the reflective colors on the car. Those are a little weird.

B&W. If the car was an interesting colour I might say otherwise, but as it is the B&W focuses all the attention on the light and shade and removes the distraction of the sky.

I guess it really depends on what you're going for. The black and white focuses everything on the car and kinda just leaves it at that. I prefer the coloured one, because it makes me feel like, okay theres the car, and this is the car that takes me home on a cool summer day. It brings some warmth + emotions. Feels comfy ^_^

Thanks for the replies, I appreciate your opinions.

I preferred the b&w, hence the post in the assignment. But wanted to get some other opinions.

Thanks again for the posts, I appreciate your thoughts and time.

Just wondering....

In comparison to either of the two above...how would you rate this one?

Thanks.

I like the one with color in the sky. It really looks like an expensive ad photo.

I definitely vote for BW in the first one, as the sky and car don't fight for attention in the BW. In the other one you posted, I love that in color, the car does stand out on its own.

Really nice work!
