Here are two versions of the same shot. Not sure which I like best. Comments?

Hi

I prefer the first shot by a long way, the colours really add depth and definition and allows distinction between objects. it's just more interesting!

you've also treated the colours well, the same way I do most of my shots, which reduces greens and boosts reds a bit too and a general desaturation of others (apologies if that's not what you've done!)

nice angle by the way and you've managed to be bang in the middle, which is always more difficult than it should be.

I prefer the color version, but feel like you've done something odd with the post-processing that's left a halo around the tree on the left. Maybe it's just the vignette, but it's distracting me

My apologies re the rules. Did not read the single picture expectation.

This is an HDR image taken with a Nikon D90 at ISO 100 and a Nikkor 12-24 lens set at 12mm. Exposure was f8 with 3 different shutter speeds. The HDR explains the halo.

Looking at the forum definitions, this cityscape should probably have been posted in the processed photos section.

The color one by a longshot, the color adds a certain amount of feeling and depth to the photo for me.
