Default Cormorant Composition

Hello,

I took this shot of a Cormorant:
Cormorant
I cropped it so he is on the left edge and got a bit of space to fly into.

Would it look better if I let the 3 water drops in the picture?

ISO 400 (forgot to set it down :/)

Focal Length: 194mm

And by the way another question, does anybody know which Cormorant out of the 40 species it is?
Edit: Seems to be this, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australasian_Darter doesn't it?

Kind Regards,
Fawky

I'm not sure about the drops--maybe leave 2? I am bothered by how tightly you cropped above its head. I'd give it a little more breathing room up top so it doesn't look like it's about to crash into the frame.

I agree with Ruby, the first crop is too tight. Can you just crop the right side and then slide the picture over to give the bird a little more room to fly into ? Sorry, I don't know which cormorant that is.
