I like the first one. The shadow is a little harsh and distracting in the 2nd one. Also, it bothers me that the tip of her nose is almost at the top of her lip. Kind of makes her nose look too long.
Just my opinion. I am newbie though so feel free to take advice from someone who knows more. |

Thank you Nicole, I appreciate your feedback, but don't you think the first one makes her head look way too big? |

i actually prefer the second one she has a pretty smile. but i might like the first one better if you did a simple clone to put some more hair over the whole in the bangs. may sound weird but my eye just focuses on that spot for some reason. however in the second shot that little piece of hair going across the right side of her face touching her nose bugs me a little...
But they're both good shots.... ETA: okay i wanted to see what it would look like on the close-up to clone out the bald spot in the bang. took just a second...selected the hair to the left of the spot and just moved it over the bald spot...such a quick easy fix and clone job. also just upped the exposure a tad to bring out her beautiful green eyes more. i feel without the bald spot the eyes take center stage more... and if a person wanted to take some time i think it would look even better with that shadow or hair coming over her left eye/cheek cloned out too. just one opinion

I prefer the second one. The first one is still great, but I think the perspective is a little off and her head looks kind of big. Though when I first saw it I thought it was kind of artsy.
