Default Bride Touch Up

Does this edit work for you? Left is SOC Right is slight eye brightening, skin smoothing, curves and some distraction removal. I was thinking about printing it as a comparison to show clients. Maybe do a few more as well. Does this show enough or too much of edits. I also want to be honest, and this is about the extent of the edits I would do on a wedding shoot.

Hey Scott! I think it looks nice. There is not much about the edit I don't like. You warmed it up just enough. Her eyes don't have the "fake" white look to them. Good job removing the flower boxes too. The flowers on the left side of the frame are about the only thing that distracts me a bit still. The ones next to her dress are fine, and add to the image IMO. Very well done!

Thanks Luke.... I appreciate the kind words. Those flowers being natural didn't bother me at first like the planters did, but now that you mention them..... they get on my nerves and are gone. Gotta luv content aware fill!!

So scott, you're asking if you should print this and use it as a reference / selling point when presenting your offering to a client?

I would think yes. I think the changes are subtle enough to not hang yourself by showing uber-photshop magic that the customer might then expect... You might have 2 or 3 different images, each showing a minor tweak or post enhancement like coloring or B&W etc. to show how your experience and skills can make "pictures in to memories"

Hey- I think that your image on the right looks great! I know this is nit picking, but when i looked at it a second time the right eye seems just a little too bright i would tone that down a bit, but will anyone else ever notice that. probably not. but now its the only place my eyes will go.
