Which do you like better the color or the B&W conversion:

I like the b/w image very much, though I think the vignetting is a bit too much.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Back off the vignette a touch.

I think the desaturated colours work better than the original version, but I did like the impact of the high contrast B&W - I also like the more panoramic crop of this third image - perhaps a combination of the B&W and this one would work best?

I like the BW version best, but I think the vignette a bit much and last image has potential.

For the BW conversion I would boost the contrast (and then reduce brightness to eliminate blowouts) in order to to minimize "background distraction" rather than using a heavy vignette...
