Default an ant's eye view

not really an edit two untouched versions of the same thing. What do you think?

Hi.
I kind of like the first image better, it matches the title to help tell a story and the angle helps put the viewer in the position of an ant. However the featureless white blob in the foreground is a big distraction.

The second image is not nearly as dynamic and really also needs the detail at ground level to complete it.

I would suggest you have another go to replicate the first image but include some texture in the foreground - it shouldn't be in focus, but needs some earthy tones rather than the white.

Hope this helps.

I prefer the first. It is much more interesting.
