LOL.... I like the second shot too more then anything, simply because you have the glass part of the building. maybe we should consider meeting together for a walk about. Am in Louisville myself

I like the second one better.
Second: + can see the names on the building and the bat + reflection on glass + the crossed flags and the centered light pole. - slanted horizon Fisrt one - the rest of the shot distracts from the main subjects.

Okay, I'll be the oddball and say I like the first one best. I'm still tying to get over the size of that bat! The reason I like the first one is that you have the tallest object (the bat), closest to the camera, then the next tallest item (5 story building) and a shorter building after that. So, as you have the smaller objects further away from the camera, it emphasizes the scale of the largest object closest to the camera (Paul Bunyan's bat).
I've never been to Louisville, but if I'm close, I want to see that bat in person!
