Default Louisville Slugger

I would like your opinion which photo you like best One or Two; your reason and critique are welcome but not necessary for your vote. Thanks, Larry

Photo Two

I prefer number 2, but from a critique point of view, I would like the lower right hand corner of the building in the crop.

Nice shots.

p.s. did you happen to get a picture of the SOB who left his bat lying there?

Thanks Scott, I made the edit to include the lower right hand corner of the building in the crop.

I like #2 because you can see more detail in the bat and the name on the building, but in #1 I like the perspective of looking down the street.

Default Jolly Green Giant left his bat there

LOL.... I like the second shot too more then anything, simply because you have the glass part of the building. maybe we should consider meeting together for a walk about. Am in Louisville myself

I like the second one better.

Second:
+ can see the names on the building and the bat
+ reflection on glass
+ the crossed flags and the centered light pole.
- slanted horizon

Fisrt one
- the rest of the shot distracts from the main subjects.

Thank you amitkhanna84, I appreciate you taking the time to comment on my post.

The second photo wins, I plan on printing a book about Kentucky and Clark County in the future and you guys have been very helpful in selecting the best photo.

Ha! That "SOB" would have been Babe Ruth as that is a replica of the bat he used in the early 1920's...

Okay, I'll be the oddball and say I like the first one best. I'm still tying to get over the size of that bat! The reason I like the first one is that you have the tallest object (the bat), closest to the camera, then the next tallest item (5 story building) and a shorter building after that. So, as you have the smaller objects further away from the camera, it emphasizes the scale of the largest object closest to the camera (Paul Bunyan's bat).

I've never been to Louisville, but if I'm close, I want to see that bat in person!
