Default Window or No Window?

Hello, I'm new to the site, but would love some feedback on these shots. The original shot was taken without a tripod, although I wish I had it. I was on the second floor deck of our house and had to capture the view in the spur of the moment. I hadn't realized that I left the bathroom light on (a red heat lamp) but liked the glow of it in the shot. I'm not sure if the shot is better with or without the window. Any other cropping suggestions would be welcome too. Thanks in advance!

I prefer it with the window. I think the red/orange color coming from the window balances nicely with the orange of the sunset and gives the photo something extra. It also appears that there is some dust on your sensor, the dark dot in the sky....may be time to take it in for a cleaning.

Thanks for the feedback and the head's up on the sensor dust. And all this time I just thought the spot was an unidentified heavenly body! Just kidding - your eyes are much better than mine. I never even noticed it. Best regards.

I love the picture with the window. It's a nice sunset, but the window adds a very interesting foreground and perspective to it! =)
