Hello people,
I'm having a hard time on deciding how to crop this image, with respect to composition, so I would like your input on this. I attached three versions, one is original (in which both man and the whole cow are visible), one which is cropped in, and one in which the man only is visible. I'm not quite sure, but I think that I prefer the Version 1 image, the cropped one in which both are visible. I think it would be good to keep the cow in the frame as a second point of interest. Do you agree? Which one is the best for you and why (composition-wise)? Or something else, I'm open to suggestions. Thanks

I actually prefer the man alone. In the first one, my eyes couldn't decide what to focus on and in the second one my question was why the cow. Maybe if they were closer or if there was some interaction between them? I'm not an expert but I think I might have cropped in closer to fill the frame with the man and the tire.

Thank you all,
I finally settled on the man alone, upon better examination it just seemed like the two subjects are competing for attention, so the man alone was a better option in my opinion. Thanks! |
