Default The Purple Flower

Camera: Canon EOS-1D Mark III
Exposure: 1/60
Aperture: f/5.6
Focal Length: 100 mm
ISO Speed: 400

First of all I used the pen tool to cut out the center flower. Copied it into a new layer then sharpened it using the smart sharpen filter. The I used the filter poster edges on the center flower, then hired the saturation for a more vibrant look. I then lowered the exposure on the background layer, lowered the brightness and hired the saturation and contrast. Hope you enjoy. Thanks to peeperita for the critique idea

Hope you like the result

nice image....

for critique, we need just one more thing from you......a good leading question about your piece.....an easy way to start and since this is in processed critique, would be for you to describe the editing that you did and why......that will give our members a good starting off point for any suggestions they might have.....you'll get a little more feedback with just a smidge more thought from you about your work....

thanks

peeper

I honestly like the first image much better. If that is the original, the only thing I would do is clone out the yellowish buds in the bottom left.

Ditto to irishmuth. This is just a personal choice tho. I guess knowing what you were trying to accomplish would have helped more.
