Default Please help!

I'm having lots of trouble figuring out which I like best. I posted the one with no napkin for comparison - I prefer the two with the napkins but can't decide between them.

In the first I feel the shrimp plate stands out a bit more but in the second I like that you can't see the napkin corner.

My husband is very logical so prefers the first because you can tell it's a napkin but I'm not sure that's the best reasoning.

Help?! Please help me choose! Which do you prefer - 1, 2, or 3?

#1 because you can see that it's a napkin.

#2 doesn't tell you it's a napkin and it could be wrapping paper for all I know hehe.

Yea, see that's what my husband said too! Okay, thanks! Maybe that's why I'm drawn to 1 myself and just don't realize it.

I say....Picture 1!
It is because....the napkin brings like a 'Welcome' Sign to me.....
What is it?
It looks so delicious!

nicholasleezt, thanks for the "welcome" description - I can understand that! It's just some battered shrimp with cocktail sauce! So yummy though!!

no.1 looks good but i prefer no. 3. looks uncluttered and no distraction for the real subject, the
shrimp and the sauce.

I like #3, it's simplistic... the napkin really doesn't add to the photo in my opinion.

Great shots. If you want to choose between the two with the napkins I would select the first because you can see it is a napkin. However, I find the napkin (especially the bright colour of it and the pattern) very distracting and I much prefer the last photo without it. I think the leaf on the plate is a nice touch.

I like #1 over #3. I think the napkin gives it balance. And #1 ove#2 becasue it it more readily appearent that it is a napkin...
