I like the B&W one, but I would do it with out the color splash in it.. JMHO

+1...very few people will tell you selective colouring is ever a good idea It's like stone washed jeans from the 80s...

I'm fond of color, so I prefer the first. Also, the lighting on her hair is very nice.

Stone washed jeans & flares come and go... so will selective colouring... don't be a trend follower... do what you want, don't listen to anyone... be yourself..

Hmm I like the 2nd,for me the chains act like a frame for the face,makes me more focused on it

I really appreciate all the input!
Good point about the color-splash... although it's fun to play with (and I agree with jughead about the face framing), if I want this photo to be timeless, I should probably stay away from trends that will date it...
