Default Which one is better

I have two questions.

Which one is better do you think?

Can I say these photographs as an environmental portrait or a candids street shot?

1.

Shutter Speed 1/100
Lens Aperture F/2.7
ISO 100

esp-13

2.

Shutter Speed 1/100
Lens Aperture F/3.2
ISO 100

esp-14

I rather like them both...

1st one because I'm liking all the colourful shapeful cases and luggage bags the seller is buried in..

2nd one because the two black bags he's leaning on could easily be camel humps or the back of some other pack animal in some far away exotic market in his homeland.

I'd choose 'candid market shot'.

I like both of them, so colorful!!
I would go with the first though.

I think the first picture is better than the second since it shows more of the surroundings. I would call this a candid street shot.

I prefer the second picture. The composition better highlights the man, and there's a sense of mystery as you follow his gaze. I'm curious as to what is out of frame that has his quizzical attention.

I like both, but I would go with the first though, I just would do a little tiny correction: try to level the image, IMO is a little crocked to the right.

Nice captures!!
