Default Foreground or not

I'd like your opinion on which version is more pleasing.
Thanks for looking, Keith

Hi

For me it is the first one hands down.Draws your eye straight to the subject,I like it.

Definitely the first one for me as well, as Gary said it draws the eye straight to the subject and the foreground in the second isn't really very aesthetically pleasing, it doesn't add anything.

First let me just say that I am not a pro by a very long shot. I like the second one because I feel the foreground helps anchor the buildings. The first one leaves me feeling like the buildings are floating off into the night. Thanks for sharing !
