Default I get to upgrade my camera! Help me!!!

I can almost guarantee that this question has popped up a number of times, but I'm going to ask it for myself.

50d or 7d?

Tell me what you think. I'm an amateur but I do a lot of shoots and am ready for the upgrade.

Thanks guys!

Wait until February and see if a "60D" arrives and what it inherits from the 7D.

It pays to know what the Canon product life cycles are. The "60D" is due at PMA and will probably inherit the sensor technology of the 7D, and in late September (Photokina is 9/21-9/26 this year), a "550D" will probably arrive, inheriting sensor tech from the 60D. I'd also guess we see a refresh of the XS/1000D, too at PMA.
