Default Is G11 Good for Stock Photos?

I am coming across of different opinions about quality of G11 pictures. Some people say it's a very good P&S. Others say: "You can't expect P&S to be as good as DSLR". Just to draw a line for a newbie, is G11 good enough to produce stock quality photos?

Thanks in advance,

gm

I understand that it's format as a P&S has inherent limitations but I have never read that it sux. It's good enough.

Zona, thank. That's a relief.

I was looking for a camera with 3 main features:
- It is good.
- It is Canon
- It has swivel screen.
Only G11 matches this description.

Interestingly, search of the forum on "G11" did not return a single post, never mind a thread.
