1ds mk ii or 5d mkii?

So i was all ready to upgrade to a 5d mkii when a friend offered to sell me his 1Ds mkii for a great price. I dont really do much work with the video (although it would be cool to play with) so that isnt the biggest concern. Also I dont know why but i kinda like the bulky size of the 1d. I mainly shoot people with a little landscape. I would love to save a little money but at the same time I want a camera that I will be content with for a couple of year and not have to upgrade for awhile.

A digic 2 vs 4 and a 2" monitor with 250,000 vs 3"with 920,000 dots, It would really have to be a cheaper purchase in my opinion to make it worthwhile! Anyhow I just looked at your web > great choice in music and some reallly nice photos in there!! all should see!! Good stuff I wish you well with your purchase.

1Ds MK3, maybe. 1Ds MK2, no.

I'd go with the 5Dmk2 and get the grip for it, if you really want the size/functionality.
