Hello, Thank you for taking the time to read this post, although i am sure the question has been asked countless times in the past, unfortuantly the answer is unique to every individul almost.
I have recently lost my access to a DSLR and have had to bite the nail and buy one myself, although money is tight and i can not afford much to start off with..I am looking in the £500 +/- bracket. This DSLR would have to be decent enough for college and also good enough for me to attempt to make some money along the way, so lense choices and compatability would be important to me. I love photography, in every sense of the word and the time has come to try and make something of myself in the photoghraphy world, I have enrolled on a course in england called a "BTEC national diploma in photography" to hopefully set the ball rolling and to award me some qualifications, more for my self confidance and academic record than anything else. I would be a mature student in a class based mainly around A-level standards..thats 16-19year old's roughly, this really isnt important to me though but i thought i would just add the information anyway. The reviews I have read all sing priases for the camera's in that price bracket and i am really stuck to what to pick...Idealy, i think..I would aim for a D90..but they are still a little too expensive. Please help!...and sorry for the long winded post! |

I just bought yesterday eos 1000D 18-55 IS for 500€ (453.100 GBP)
for the budget you have try to see the eos 450D(XSi), EOS 500D(T1i), nikon D3000 or D5000... see comparisons side by side, pros and cons to determinate witch one is best for your needs and budget. all of them come with 18-55 IS(image stabilization) or in nikon VR(vibrant reduction). hope it helps |
