Which canon to choose:

My A550 is dying, and I am looking for a new Canon under 200€. It has to be Canon (I love CHDK), but I'm really confused about which to get. The ones that come into my budget are:
A590, A710, A1100, A2100, SX100 or SX120, S2 or S3

I need an overview about the basic difference between the series. I know that the A590 and A710 are the most basic one of all these, but what is the difference between the A1000, SX and the S ? How do they compare ?
I'm such a noob, I know.

I should write about what I'm looking for:
A camera that one can also travel with (not gigantic), more zoom than 4x (but I guess that 12x would be an overkill ?) I'm also looking for good indoor pictures. Manual aperture would be really important for me. while my husband is interested in macro photography.

Does 'full manual mode' mean you can manually set the aperture ? If not, which specification explains that ?

Full manual mode means that you can set the aperature, shutter speed, ISO sensativity, etc. If I were in your shoes, I guess I'd go with the Canon PowerShot SX110 IS. Canon PowerShot SX110 IS Digital Camera - Review - The Imaging Resource!
