Default Eos 1000d

Hi

I am in the process of buying a Canon EOS1000D.
I have some questions if someone can help me.

1. If i do not use live view and take pictures using the viewfinder will I instantly see the picture
after i shoot it on the screen? I know this does not have the sensor like the eos 450d and that is why i am confused abpot this matter as i do not intend to use live view at all. But i would want to see the picture as soon as i snap it.

2. Is it true that it`s not as sharp as Nikon?

Any other help will be much appreciated

Thanks
Victor

Which Nikon, Typically sharpness is related to the quality of the lens, not the camera body. A Nikon vs Canon battle is not what you want to start here. If a sensor in a camera is not mounted properly, that can affect sharpness, but that also means your camera is broke, and needs repaired, regardless of manufacture. I think if you gave a few models that you were interested in, members of this forum would be glad to help you understand the difference between them.

Yes, you will see the picture right after you take it, even if you don't use liveview. That's pretty much par for the course for all digital cameras.

Sharpness is in the eye of the beholder, but as has been mentioned is, at the current resolutions we're now working with in dSLRs, more about the lens and proper technique than about the body. Sharpness is made up of a lot of different factors including lens contrast, lens resolution, sensor resolution, autofocus accuracy, shutter speed, iso, and handholding technique.

yes, you can see it after you snapped a photo.. i using 1000D, its is great.. and easy to use.. i think is better for beginner entry of SLR..

by the way, you can set how many second your snapped picture to be displayed too..
