Default Is Canon Sx 120-IS worth consideration

I have a nikon 80D and desperately want a superzoom compact camera..just stumbled across the canon sx120is which has manual controls (though it might not be as effective as an slr). has anyone used it..if so your views would be appreciated....

thx in advance...!!

I think it's a good buy, but I also think the image quality is likely to disappoint a dSLR user. Hell, it took me a few months to get used to my G9 when I got it, I was so used to what my 350D was giving me. I'd say go play with one in a store and bring an SD card along so you can look at the pics you took with it, to see if it's the camera for you.

I'd suggest a Canon S90, when they eventually get to stores (Why is canada so far behind!).
