Default Rebel Xsi or the Rebel T1i

I am going to be upgrading from my fujifilm finepix s1000fd to a canon shortly. I can't decide which to get! Any opinons? It will be my first DSLR and I am going to be taking classes. I can't wait!

Are you really interested in the video?
Do you need to shoot at higher-ISOs (above 800)?

If the answer to either of those is yes, then get the T1i. Otherwise get the XSi

Thanks for the responses. I'm still researching the cameras and have awhile to decide!

I don't even think there is an issue I would get the T1i. It's only costs slightly more then 100 dollars over the XSi (both body only) at B&H. With the T1i you get the new and improved Digic 4 processor, a better LCD screen, video recording.

A no brainer in my book.

I absolutely love my T1i. Plus the video capability is wonderful to have the option of.

Get the T1i. The screen alone is worth it, plus as mentioned above, Digic4 and the option for video.

get the T1i!

I saw both at best buy and I would go for that one. The screen is amazing.

Default T1i

I have had both cameras, and I returned the XSi for the T1i within a week. I definitely prefer the T1i.
