B&H Photo (www.bhphotovideo.com) has the Canon Speedlite 580EX II listed at $445. That's definitely not cheap; that's for sure. Or, you could consider the Speedlite 430EX II by Canon. That's the flash I use. There are some differences between the two flashes, but the cost for the 430EX II is considerably less - it's listed for $280 on the same site.

Just a thought.

Thanks natek313, but you must also remember your prices are in American. Now, the CDN and US dollars are pretty similar these days, but still...

I will look into the 430 EXII. Thanks.
