Question Problem with Canon 500D

Hi all,

I have recently bought a Canon EOS 500D (a little more than one week ago) and today, after a day out shooting the sunset, i noticed a black line in all of the photos. It only becomes noticeable with some zoom or croppping of an area of the photo. Yet, it seems to me that this must be some problem with the sensor or something like that.

Curiously enough, the first photos i took with the camera the day after i bought it didn't show any signs of this problem.

Does anyone have an idea of what this problem could be? I have added some photos showing the problem.

Thanks in advance,
Hugo

You shouldn't have that line in your pictures. Return the camera to the place you bought it and get a replacement.
