EF-S = Canon lenses for 1.6x cropped sensor bodies
EF = Canon FF lenses.

Nope, it's Canon's EF-S 60mm f/2.8 USM Macro lens.

I own it. B&H lists it for $435 (USA warranty). It's smaller and lighter than the 100 Macro, with a newer optical design for crop-body cameras. You cannot use it on a full-frame body. It doesn't give you the same working distance as the 100 Macro, though, so it's not very good for wildlife macros since you'll have to be close enough that you could scare bugs into taking off; it rocks for flowers and table top stuff. It's probably the sharpest lens in my bag, but I find it a little too sharp and not quite fast enough for portrait work. But maybe that's just me.

I have the EF-S 60mm f/2.8 USM Macro lens and it's the sharpest lens I own. Focusing is a little slow but it's a fun lens to shoot with...DOF is crazy when you're wide open at MFD.

Shutter Speed: 1/60
Aperture: f/2.8
ISO: 200
Focal Length: 60mm
Light Source: Small LED flashlight camera left
