While I did capture a few shots that I made me smile, using the bulb setting with a remote to photograph fireworks this year was made a bit more difficult because of the delay after pressing the remote shutter button. I read through my manual and it said that my remote (RC-1) can trip the shutter immediately or after a 2-sec delay.
I'm looking for help on how to adjust that timing. I have a Canon EOS Rebel XT, and I've searched through many menus and cannot seem to find it. Any help is really appreciated! Thanks!

I use a D90 so I'm not sure this will help or not but when I set it for remote there's a little pic of the remote and a teeny timer for 2sec delay, if I flip it one more notch it's the remote alone. I would think you'd have something similar? I have button on top of my camera for this though, do you have to go through the menu?
