Hello everyone,
I have been looking all around digital-photography-school for the last week, marvelous staff and community you guys have here, A1 really! My questions is that I'm going to buy my first DSLR and Im trying to decided between the T2i and the T3i. I know there are a lot of the discussions about it, all over the Internet and here, but none actually answered my question. My primary usage will be aircraft spotting, so long distance objects that you cannot get close to, and mostly day-light photos (rare low-light shots). So what do you recommend and what are really the differences, because I cannot find any beside the flipping screen. Thanks everyone! |

I believe you already answered your question. Well, there is a difference. About $100 to $200 dollars!
You're biggest concern is glass. I would be asking questions about lenses.

You biggest thing to be looking at is glass, and I'm pretty sure you'll be looking for something longer than the EF-S 55-250.

i'm not sure how fast your lenses will need to be with what you're shooting.
maybe something like a 300mm f2.8 and a 400mm f2.8? Preeb or veritasimagery would know far better than I, I think.

, at least for now since I'm still startingI'll make it easier for you guys, which one of these:
I have read that a lot of people would take the 55-250 over the 75-300, because the 75-300 gets soft on high focals, thus no really that useful more or less, anyway, what do you think? Thanks for all the help so far, by the way!!

Forget the Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III - It is not a good lens, except for the price.
I own one. The Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS is ok for the price (I also own one). I have no experience with the Tamron lens.
